Virtual Movie Night!

Ever wonder why Earth is named earth? Perhaps it is because what we’re walking around on is essential for all living beings … we are grounded in ground. The health of this top layer of our planet’s crust is responsible for the health of all living beings on it.

Kiss the Ground is an engaging documentary, narrated by Woody Harrelson, that provides the foundational science of soil, addresses the essential role that it plays in all life on Earth, its present state, and -- here’s the uplift -- practical ways that each of us and all of us together can be part of its restoration.

Watch the Trailer

Whether you’re a gardener, a farmer, or someone who eats food, this film matters to the quality of your life right now, and matters even more within this decade … and beyond.

We’ll watch the film together and then engage in discussion about what is happening, the impact it’s having, and what opportunities for spiritual activism are before us, as individuals and in community. Listen closely and you might hear a calling. To paraphrase Dr. Seuss: “I am the soil, I speak for the Earth.”

“A refreshingly positive and practical guide to climate change and something we can actually do to combat it immediately.”
