Living in a time of transformation can bring out the worst in us and the best in us. This workshop focuses on embodying our highest values as we navigate, co-create, and evolve individually, culturally, and globally.
We are at a turning point in our history of being human. Never before have human beings experienced this degree of impact on a global level in multiple fields of simply living life.
Speaking for change in the arena of racial equity, social justice, environment, economics, immigration, politics, healthcare, or any cultural shift that calls to you is especially needed and powerful in this time of chaos and uncertainty -- a.k.a., transformation.
As Gandhi taught, being the change we want to see invites us to live the life that we want to live, even when we’re tired, frustrated, and frightened.
In this workshop we explore:
Elements of Spiritual Activism and how to cultivate and embody them (through teaching, mindful discussion, meditation, skillful communication, engaged practice).
How to express what we want to say. When communication is in alignment with what we value and respect, it engages an energy of power rather than force.
How to embody our message. This lays the tracks for what is heard and what evolves. The qualities of being that we embody set the stage for what is to come.
How we respond to people, circumstances, and events matters. Every action -- no matter what the scale, large or small -- has impact on the present and on the future. This workshop invites response that supports evolutionary change -- response that comes from an eco-systemic consciousness of Interbeing.
