Visualization meditation is a form of meditation where you take the time to intentionally focus on something that you’d like to have happen in your life. Many spiritual traditions have visualization meditation practices because there is an understanding that taking the time to meditate in this way is a communication to the universe that this is what you want to have manifest in your reality. With a more science based approach, modern psychology has adopted the use of visualization meditation as a tool because research has shown that visualization practices help train the brain and body to take the actions that will help you move towards whatever you are wanting to see happen in your life. Whether or not you’re particularly interested in spirituality or psychology, there are STILL lots of reasons to try visualization meditation!
Why should I try visualization meditation?
Taking the time to intentionally focus on something you desire helps you get clarity about what it is you want.
It can be fun! How often do we get to dream and be creative without having to factor in being a “responsible adult”? Visualization Meditation is a space where you are free to imagine exactly what you want in a world where there are no limits.
It helps to train your brain to focus on what you want it to focus on. Many people have developed patterns of expecting outcomes based on your past experiences. Sometimes, that leads to expecting failure, danger and disaster. Visualization meditation helps to train the brain to consider and expect other options- options of success, thriving, abundance and health.
Because you are visualizing in the world of your imagination, you can visualize things that might be vulnerable or risky, but without the typical fear and doubt that might arise in “real life.” For example, perhaps you want to ask for a job promotion, but it brings up a lot of fear/intimidation. In the world of the visualization, you are in charge of what happens, and thus, there is nothing to fear!
You gain a deepened connection to what it will take to make what you want a reality.
You start to notice how aspects of what you want are already happening!
And the final reason why you should try visualization meditation?
IT’S FREE!
So if you have the slightest curiosity about it, why NOT give it a try?
Jenn feels strongly about the power of visualization meditation, and because of this, she wants to create the ability for anyone who has interest to have access to a taste of the experience.

Having a space that is quiet and where you are not likely to be interrupted will contribute to a more beneficial experience for yourself and all participants. Co-creating a container of respect and presence for this conversation will enhance the benefits of this experience for each and all of us.
For this offering:
This is an experiential, practice-based session. We will begin and end with time together as a group, so if you are able to turn on your video for these parts of our time together, we appreciate it -- this helps to cultivate a sense of community and engagement. Most participants elect to turn off their video during the meditations and other practices to create a sense of privacy and the ability to “go inward.”
For this offering:
We recommend that, if possible, you view this event on a PC or laptop so that you have access to Gallery view and can see all the participants.
We also encourage you to keep your video on so that a sense of community and engagement is cultivated.
