Drop-In Information
Pausing to meditate with a group, even for just 30 minutes, can support and refresh your practice.
Each week, we provide opportunities to engage in guided meditation in a safe, comfortable environment with experienced teachers. We begin and end with the chime of a bell, with a mixture of stillness and guidance. Meditations will focus on mindfulness of breathing, sound, body sensations, mind states, and/or open awareness, and are appropriate for those who are new to meditation or experienced.
All are welcome. Our goal is to offer opportunities to practice that are conveniently scheduled, low-cost, and approachable. You can register in advance or just drop-in. Chairs, cushions, and a limited number of yoga mats and backjacks are provided. We look forward to sitting with you!

Finding authentic and meaningful connection is a human need. Having a sense of belonging in community is a human yearning. In this series of Drop-in Meditation Classes we gather in community to cultivate the qualities of being and living that deepen our sense of connection… our interbeing with all. Through secular teaching, guided meditation practice, and discussion, we explore how to enter being and to show up with the qualities that we want to bring into the world.
Each date is a “stand-alone” class which is appropriate for experienced meditators AND those new to meditation. All are welcome to join us in this intentional cultivation of conscious relationship.

Journey meditation is an ancient form of meditation honoring the existence of worlds beyond the physical world in which we currently exist. Through journey meditation, we engage in those worlds in order to gain insight beyond what this world can teach us, enlist support of helpers in those realms, expand our perception of ourselves, others and the world around us, and find healing through integrating parts of ourselves that have become lost.
Participants in each drop-in class will:
Deepen one's own personal ability to journey.
Integrate the basic structure and guidelines for being able to build and deepen a personal shamanic journeying practice.
Practice guided journeying into the Lower, Middle and Upper worlds, connecting with internal sources of wisdom in each realm.
Engage in safe community processing of journey experiences in order to support one’s ability to make personal meaning of each journey meditation.
