Indigenous cultures have a very rich and varied set of practices that support individual and community wellness. In this course, we experience a sampling of these ancient methods with the intention of building an eclectic repertoire of practices that foster well-being. Different shamanic energy meditations, along with relevant cultural context, will be introduced in each class. Together in community, we will explore, share, discuss, play and deepen our understanding of a variety of techniques that can be easily incorporated into our daily lives to promote our health and wellness.
