This event has been cancelled.

From our partners at Monterey Peninsula Regional Parks District:

Out of an abundance of caution for staff and volunteers during this escalating coronavirus situation, the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District has decided to cancel LGO! programs between Thursday, March 12 – Wednesday, April 15, 2020. The Palo Corona Discovery Center and Garland Ranch Visitor Center will be closed during this time period.

Engage your senses as you come into contact with the natural world. Release the stress of everyday life with mindful walking, movement, guided sitting meditation, and informal discussion. As the weather changes, so with each session’s focus.

These events are facilitated by Katie Dutcher, MA, practitioner of meditation and mindfulness since 2009, and qualified instructor of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Since she was a small child, Katie has been enthralled and inspired by the natural world.
