Shamanic journey meditation is an ancient form of meditation honoring the existence of worlds beyond the physical world in which we currently exist. In this course, we will deepen our connection to the landscape of the Lower World, which is the realm that houses “the tough stuff”. In the Lower World, we explore unprocessed energy from generations before us that has not been addressed, and we face the energy within us that makes us squirm. Some examples of things that might live in the Lower World include things such as fear of scarcity from past famines, fear of persecution from past atrocities, unresolved trauma, our own patterns of judgement, internalized rage, internalized shame, etc. We do this in order to transform that energy that does not serve us, learn how to prevent this accumulation of unprocessed energy moving forward, and restore flow to ourselves and the world-at-large.
