In February 2022, the revised edition of Duane Elgin’s Nautilus Award-Winning book Choosing Earth was released. Since the publication of the original edition in 2020, Duane has made significant updates in the text regarding the path and pace of the current climate destabilization, shifting of societal structures, and global transformation.

Film-maker Coleen LeDrew Elgin’s most recent film Facing Adversity: Choosing Earth, Choosing Life explores the speed, depth and magnitude of our growing planetary crisis, and the opportunity we have to meet this crisis consciously – with eyes and hearts wide open.

Duane Elgin is an internationally recognized author, speaker, educator and visionary. Duane’s portfolio of futures work includes: two years on the senior staff of a Presidential Commission on the American Future; six years working as a senior social scientist with the “futures group” at SRI International. Duane is the author of five books that look into the deep future including,The Living Universe, Voluntary Simplicity, Choosing Earth, Winner of 2020 Nautilus Book Award in the World Cultures’ Conscious Growth and Development category.
Coleen LeDrew Elgin (Director, Producer, Co-writer of Facing Adversity, Choosing Earth) is a filmmaker specializing in documentaries that open hearts and minds, expand consciousness, and reveal wisdom. Her clients include Fetzer Memorial Trust, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and Shambhala Publications. Coleen is a long time meditation practitioner with a deep interest in the integration of healing and awakening in service of the larger world.
