“Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough."
—Brené Brown
In this new offering, we take as our inspiration the guideposts of Wholehearted Living outlined by Brené Brown in "The Gifts of Imperfection." We go beyond reading and discussion to focus on reflecting and most of all PRACTICING these guideposts in order to access a more authentic and spacious way of living -- with our whole hearts and our whole selves. Along the way, we find the courage to release fear, shame, and expectations that have gotten in the way.
Wholehearted Living Practice Group offers structure and facilitation from Katie, but also draws heavily on the support and contribution of the group as a community of practice, as well as the innate wisdom of each participant to select and develop their own practices of wholehearted living according to the guideposts that most call to them.
This group is for people who are up for participative, hands-on, workshop-style learning. Our calls will include reflective journal writing, meditation, individual sharing, group and pair discussion. Apart from the calls, there is a commitment to practicing these guideposts throughout daily life -- this is what invites transformation.
